North West Student Art Prize CIMPA is pleased to announce Marielle Hehir as the winner of the North West Student Art Prize 2009. Attached is a copy of one the images Marielle entered into the competition, entitled Blue Ruin (detail a). Marielle won because of her vibrant explosion and use of colour and designs, which resemble a new but refined form of abstract graffiti. She graduated from Manchester Met in 2009 with a BA Fine Art Painting and lives in Manchester.
