Our Aim is to be a pioneering and inclusive creative enterprise; using the creative industries (in all its artforms), as a catalyst to effecting positive & social change.

Our History beginning as an idea in 2006, the impetus for setting up CIMPA became apparent out a clear lack of engagement and inequalities in the creative sector as a whole. This was well documented in some areas of work at the time and remains much the same today, partly due to unwillingness to act and effect change by key figures and organisations within the sector. After many months of deep thought and considerable planning, CIMPA is now here and will seek to make a social and cultural difference.

Our Trustees we are presently looking for three new trustees with relevant experience.

Our Partners currently include British Waterways, Manchester Cathedral, the Hub, Kro Bar Piccadilly, the Manchester Gay Village Business Association, and SOS Children’s Villages UK.
