Our History beginning as an idea in 2006, the impetus for setting up CIMPA became apparent out a clear lack of engagement and inequalities in the creative sector as a whole. This was well documented in some areas of work at the time and remains much the same today, partly due to unwillingness to act and effect change by key figures and organisations within the sector. After many months of deep thought and considerable planning, CIMPA is now here and will seek to make a social and cultural difference.Our Trustees presently consists of Smyth Harper, who is Head of Press for Greater Manchester Police as Chair, Gareth Hagan, who is a Business Analyst for the Cooperative Bank as Treasurer, and Charles Winstanley as Company Secretary, who is UK Director of Prenez Garde.Our Partners currently include British Waterways, Manchester Cathedral, the Hub, Kro Bar Piccadilly, the Manchester Gay Village Business Association, and SOS Children’s Villages UK.Effecting positive change for business and the community through diversity and creativityhomecurrent projectsconsultancy worknews & eventsresources & linkscontact us
